Getting Started in Classes

The Kickstart program is designed for women who want to go into a group class environment for a structured strength training program. Completion of this course is a requirement to attend the Strength Training classes. In some situations, an individual may not be a ideal candidate for classes. Kickstart/Strength Training Classes are designed for generally active, injury-free women who wants to improve their body composition, fitness level and athletic performance. Candidates will be determined after our consultation.

In Kickstart, we will cover the curriculum of the basic fundamental movements that you will see in the classes. I believe that it is critical to instill good long term strategies; During these sessions, you will see a huge emphasis placed on safety, form and technique. All Kickstart courses have a maximum enrollment of 4 women to ensure everyone can learn and receive coaching. At the end of the Kickstart course, you will feel confident stepping into a class and performing the movements with high proficiency.

  • It’s important that you attend each of these sessions as these movements build on one another.
  • Each session will consist of a structured warm-up, skill development, and a workout.
  • Individualized goals and needs: Sometimes clients may require alternate programming or exercise modifications.
  • Shifts in body composition are one of the most motivating ways to measure success. I encourage participants to have their measurements taken at the beginning of our Kickstart, I also highly encourage you to take “Before” pictures at the beginning of the Kickstart course.
