Getting Started in Classes
Kickstart sessions generally meet 2x per week for 4 weeks. This course is a requirement to obtain a membership for my Strength Training classes. It is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants to improve their body composition, fitness level and athletic performance.
In Kickstart, we will cover the curriculum of the basic fundamental movements that you will see in the classes. I believe that it is critical to instill good long term strategies; During these 4-8 sessions, you will see a huge emphasis placed on safety, form and technique. All Kickstart courses have a maximum enrollment of 4 people to ensure everyone can learn and receive coaching. At the end of the Kickstart course, everyone will feel confident stepping into a class and performing the movements with high proficiency.
- It’s important that you attend each of the 8 sessions as these movements build on one another. (If you have to miss one of the 8 classes – you may book a private skills only session for $50.)
- Each session will consist of a structured warm-up, skill development, and a workout.
- Individualized goals and needs: Sometimes clients may be provided with alternate programming or exercise modifications.
- Shifts in body composition are one of the most motivating ways to measure success. We highly encourage you to take “Before” pictures at the beginning of the Kickstart course.
